Mitchell's F-250 Limited came to us already lifted. Our job wasn't to start from scratch, it was to take a truck that was already built and make it better everywhere it actually shows, including the one place most builds never bother with: straight up underneath it.

The Suspension

The lift is an Elevate MFG kit: a 4-link setup with a mini cradle, which changes the geometry the correct way as the suspension cycles instead of just adding height. TSO frame overlays finish out the frame itself, and Fox coilovers went up front with Fox shocks in the rear, tuned for a truck that still needs to drive between shows, not just get trailered to them.

The Part That Actually Takes Time

Anybody can bolt on a lift kit in factory black and call it done. What took real hours on this build was the color match. Every control arm, skid plate, and mounting bracket underneath the truck is powder coated in a matching teal and pink, not painted, and not just the shocks. Kody at Powder Rangers OKC did that work, and it shows. Some of the color-matched textured plastics on the truck were already done before it came to us. We added more to it and redid a few pieces that weren't right. On a truck this color combination is a statement. Powder coating every bracket and arm underneath to match is a lot more work than leaving it all black, and it's the kind of detail judges at a show actually get down and look for.

A show truck gets photographed from underneath as much as from the side. We build every one that way, whether it's headed to a show or just to work.

Wheels and Tires

Thirty-inch American Force wheels wrapped in forty-inch Fury tires, sized to clear at full articulation on a 4-link that actually cycles instead of just sitting there. A Pulz hitch keeps the rear clean without giving up towing. Full breakdown of how we spec a wheel and tire package like this is on our wheels and tires page.

The Center Caps

The wheels run custom "Onward and Upward" center caps. Mitchell had them made in memory of his father, who passed away, and asked that they go on this build specifically. It's easy to drive past a detail like that without ever knowing the story behind it, but it mattered to him, and it mattered to us to get it right. It's not the kind of thing that shows up on a judging sheet, but it's a meaning that goes deeper than just a good-looking truck.

We also built Mitchell a set of custom headlights for the truck, the same heritage work that put RAW on the map back in 2015. Full write-up on how we approach that is on our custom headlights page.

The build sheet: Elevate MFG 4-link lift kit with mini cradle, TSO frame overlays, Fox coilovers up front and Fox shocks in the rear, teal and pink powder coat front to back by Powder Rangers OKC, 30" American Force wheels on 40" Fury tires, a Pulz hitch, and a custom headlight set built in-house.

Lifted Truck Nationals

LTN is one of the bigger lifted truck shows in the country, and this year the field topped 1,800 trucks. Placement comes down to fit, finish, and the kind of details most people walk right past. Mitchell's F-250 placed Top 75 out of that whole field, which is a real result against that many serious builds.

We're proud of this one. Mitchell trusted us with a truck he was going to put in front of judges and a parking lot full of people who build trucks for a living, and that's not something we take lightly. Congratulations to him on the placement, and thank you for bringing it back to us to build.

Bring It By

Whether you're chasing a placement at the next show or you just want your truck built like it's going to be judged even when it's parked at the gas station, that's the standard we build to every time. Tell us the truck and what you're going for, and we'll spec it out.
