If you are looking for dually wheels and tires in Edmond, OK, this is the kind of build we love. This Ford F-350 dually came in for a full package: 24x8.25 JTX Forged wheels in a 10-lug semi pattern, wrapped in 37x13.50R24 Toyo Open Country M/Ts. Six wheels, six tires, and a lot more rubber than the truck had from the factory.

Here is how we made it fit, why it does not rub, and how it left the shop without a mark on it.

Why a Semi-Lug Pattern Takes Extra Work

A Super Duty dually does not come with a 10-lug semi bolt pattern. To run semi-style wheels, the truck needs wheel adapters that convert the factory hub to the new pattern. That is what gives you the true big-rig look up front and out back.

Adapters are not the place to cut corners. They carry the whole weight of the truck and everything it tows. We use quality parts, torque everything to spec, and recheck it. A wheel package is only as good as what holds it to the truck.

Clearing 13.50s in the Rear

A 13.50-wide tire is a lot wider than what a dually runs from the factory, and the rear runs two of them side by side on each corner. Bolt them on without a plan and they rub on each other, the suspension, or the fender. We added spacers in the rear to give the 13.50s the room they need, so the duals clear without rubbing.

Every truck is a little different. Lift or level height, wheel offset, and tire width all change the math. If you want the full breakdown on why new wheels rub, read our post on wheel offset and backspacing.

Big tires are easy to sell. Big tires that fit and never rub is the actual job.

Mounted and Balanced In House

Every wheel and tire was mounted and balanced here at the shop. Big forged wheels with a machined finish scratch easily, and a tire machine in the wrong hands will mark a lip in seconds. These stayed wrapped and protected through the whole process.

The result: a dually that sits right, rolls smooth on the highway, and went home with not a scratch on the wheels.

Dually Wheel and Tire FAQ

Can I run semi-style wheels on my Ford dually?

Yes. A Super Duty dually comes with an 8-lug bolt pattern, so semi-style 10-lug wheels need adapters to convert the hub. We spec the adapters with the wheels so the whole package fits as one setup.

Will 37x13.50 tires rub on a dually?

They can. Fit depends on the truck, the lift or level, and the wheel offset, and the rear is the tight spot because two wide tires sit side by side. On this truck we added rear spacers so the 13.50s clear without rubbing. We check fit before anything goes home.

Are wheel adapters and spacers safe?

They are when you use quality parts and install them right. We torque everything to spec, recheck it, and recommend a re-torque check after the first 50 to 100 miles. Cheap adapters or skipped torque checks are where problems come from.

Do you mount and balance in house?

Yes. Every wheel and tire package we sell is mounted and balanced at our shop in Edmond. Large forged and machined wheels are protected the whole way through so they leave without marks.

What do I need to get a quote?

Your truck's year, make, and model, whether it is leveled or lifted, and the wheel and tire size you want. Send us a photo of the truck if you can. We will tell you what fits and give you a real number.
